"A Kindly Visitation", a musical,
reminiscing about youthful visits and friendships with Tommy Jarrell.
Tommy was of the last generation to learn all his music directly from
pepole. Every tune recalls a story. The show includes 24 pieces, 6 dance
performances, a picture of Tommy's life and the characters who populated
the Round Peak area in the early 20th century. The show feautres 100
slides that are prjected during the performance. "A Kindly Visitation" won
the Flournory Playwritgh Festival of New Works at Washington & Lee University in
2011. $10 or 2013 Pass |
