Carson Peters made his debut at the Grand Ole Opry in 2014, where he played “Blue Moon of Kentucky” with Ricky Skaggs. He won first place in the Mount Airy Fiddlers Convention, youth division, when he was 4 years old. Carson recently appeared on “Little Big Shots” starring Steve Harvey and again this year on the Grand Ole Opry. Iron Mountain consist of Mount Airy’s very own Eric and Ben Marshall along with Austin Tate from Marion VA.

The internationally known group is one of the single greatest contributors to the progression of bluegrass while at the same time setting a new standard and attracting new audiences to the genre. Their music includes country, rock, and even classical pop. They have performed at the White House many times. They do maintain their reputation of being “seldom seen.”
